  • At Unolab, we believe that integrity, transparency, and respect are basis of our Blow-Fill and Seal operations. We have implemented a Code of Ethics and Conduct to ensure a responsible, respectful and transparent work culture standards that guide the behaviour of all Unolab employees, promoting a culture of fairness, equality, and corporate ethics.
  • Our Code, approved by employee representation and communicated across the CDMO, includes our antibribery and anti-corruption policy, and reflects our strong commitment to ethical business practices.
  • We also have an Equality Plan that includes protocols to address and protect against sexual harassment or gender-based discrimination, supported by a confidential reporting channel for any inappropriate behaviour.
  • Moreover, our internal policy governing supplier relationships ensures that all partners are selected based on objective and transparent criteria, reinforcing ethical practices across our value chain.

  • People are at the heart of everything we do at Unolab. We are committed to create a stable, inclusive, and safe working environment where talent can thrive, and where work-life balance, professional growth and equal opportunities are actively promoted.
  • Last years, we reinforced our commitment to quality employment, combining the fresh perspective of young professionals with the experience of seasoned experts. In 2024, Unolab employs over >175 people, 56% of whom are women. Our Management Committee reflects this commitment to gender balance.
  • All Unolab employees have permanent contracts and are covered under the 20th Collective Agreement for the Chemical Industry. Our 2023-2026 Equality Plan reinforces our inclusive values and prevention protocols.
  • To promote work-life balance, we have implemented flexible schedules for certain roles, established clear andearly annual work calendars, encouraged remote work where feasible, eliminated overtime, and developed an annual training plan across all departments.

Environmental
Commitment

  • Sustainability is central to Unolab's operations. We actively contribute to a greener, circular, and low-carbon economy, integrating environmental responsibility into every stage of our work, from the research and development, or manufacturing, to the delivery of the finished Blow-Fill-Seal product.
  • In the design, manufacturing, and distribution of our pharmaceutical and healthcare products, we identify and address potential environmental impacts through preventive and corrective actions.
  • Water is a key resource in our production. We minimise its use and repurpose part of it for secondary uses.
  • In terms of materials, we minimise the use of plastic in our processes and recycle 100% of discarded plastic, reintegrating it into the market as a by-product, thereby eliminating plastic waste from our manufacturing.
  • All rest of other waste is carefully segregated, stored, and managed by an authorised partner. We also favour local suppliers to reduce the environmental footprint from transportation.
  • By performing primary packaging operations in-house, we significantly reduce emissions and packaging waste (CO₂, pallets, plastic film, cardboard), helping to lower our environmental impact throughout the supply chain.
